Deputy Country Director of KOICA Nepal Ms. Jeong-Eun Song handed over the medical equipment to Mayor of Panchkhal Municipality Mahesh Kharel amidst a function organized today November 3, 2023 at Primary Health Center in Panchkhal of Kavrepalanchowk district.
The medical equipment worth NPR 19,05,258 with support from the Korea International Cooperation Agency (KOICA) through the KOICA Alumni Association of Nepal (KAAN) to boost the PHC’s performance in providing better service to the local people.
The PHC operating under the Panchkhal Municipality, has a long-standing history of providing essential healthcare services to the residents of Panchkhal and neighboring municipalities.
Urging to use medical equipment properly, KOICA Nepal office Deputy Ms. Song. Said that South Korea is firm to strengthen Nepal’s health sector through KOICA, thus this support would play a meaningful role in uplifting the centre’s service in the near future.
Mayor Mahesh Kharel thanked the South Korean Government for extending valuable support to PHC, Panchkhal and expects more support in coming days.
