Qatar’s Hamad International Airport (HIA) set a record of serving a total of 25.9 million passengers, moved 1.2 million tonnes of cargo and had over 136,000 aircraft movements during the first half of the year 2025.
Hamad International Airport is an international airport in Qatar spanning over 22 km2 and with a 600,000m2 terminal HIA is the main airport serving Doha, in Qatar is the home base of the Qatar Airways—the national flag carrier airline of the State of Qatar.

Beginning on 30 April 2014, HIA has capacity to welcome over 65 million passengers a year, serves over 50 airlines and provides connectivity to over 190 destinations worldwide.
