‘Nepali Kalasahitya.com Pratisthan’ has honored various half a dozen litterateurs amidst a function organized in the capital Monday.
‘Amulya Rastriya Kalashree Samman-2082’ was honoured to Man Bahadur Mukhiya with a letter of appreciation and a cash prize worth of NRs. 101,000.
Likewise, Shri Om Shrestha ‘Rodan’ was awarded ‘National Kalashri Award-2082’ along with a cash prize of NRs 100,000.
The ‘Sa-Siddhi National Kalashri Award-2082’ with a cash prize of NRs 75,000 to the Nimesh Nikhil while SC Suman was presented the ‘Thirachhaya National Kalashri Lalit Kala Award-2082’ with a cash prize of NRs 60,000.
The ‘Badri National Kalashri Journalism Award-2082’ with a cash prize of NRs 50,000 to Rajesh Khanal.
Ms. Jhuma Limbu was honoured with the ‘Padmanetra National Kalashri Music Award-2082’ along with a cash prize of NRs 50,000.
Guest-of-Honor well Known artist Kiran Manandhar, Literature and former minister Shankar Koirala, Literatures Prof. Dr. Govindaraj Bhattarai and chairperson of the Pratisthan Ms. Momila Joshi honored those awardees.
According to Chairperson Ms. Joshi the ‘Nepali Kalasahitya.com Pratisthan’ has been honoring literature figures for over 18 years.
Rajeshwor Karki briefed about the activities of the Pratishthan that is firm to widened Nepali art and literature to the nook and corners of the globe along with devotion in honoring various personalities from the fields of Nepali art, literature, music, culture, philosophy, history and other social-issues.
A form of scholarly expression created through imagination is literature to express social issues, cultural values and other human experiences of the society by entertaining people and teaching the need of morality to eradicate existing social problems.
No doubt, among others, literature plays a significant role in society as a catalyst for social change which could be taken as an active force to build human consciousness.
