After their visiting Pokhara, the Israeli optometrists returned to Israel and coordinated the delivery of prescription eyeglasses dispatched from Israel to the beneficiaries in Nepal, stated in the press note of the Embassy of Israel in Kathmandu.

Deputy Chief of Mission of the Embassy of Israel Ms. Janan Bebar handed over the eyeglasses to the beneficiaries at a program organized in the community on 5 February in Ghatichhina, Pokhara.

She also had an interaction with local residents and others and said Israel’s commitment to supporting community well-being through cooperation and professional expertise in Nepal reflects the strong people-to-people ties between Israel and Nepal, it reads.
