British King Charles III taking action has decided to formally remove Prince Andrew’s royal title and privileges.

A statement from Buckingham Palace confirmed on Thursday that “His Majesty has today initiated a formal process to remove the Style, Titles and Honours of Prince Andrew. Prince Andrew will now be known as Andrew Mountbatten Windsor.”

“His lease on Royal Lodge has, to date, provided him with legal protection to continue in residence. Formal notice has now been served to surrender the lease and he will move to alternative private accommodation. These censures are deemed necessary, notwithstanding the fact that he continues to deny the allegations against him,” confirmed the palace.

Now the former Duke of York will vacate his Windsor home, Royal Lodge and will move to a private property.

However, despite their parents losing their royal titles, the royal titles of the King’s nieces, a 37 year-old Princess Beatrice and 35 year-old Princess Eugenie remain unchanged.
