As many countries around the world adopted the system of no need PCR test of COVID-19 at the airport during departure or arrival Nepal has also followed the same and open its gate to the travelers from around the globe.

Thus, as per the letter issued by the Immigration Department on March 10, now international travelers can easily visit Nepal by simply showing they have been fully vaccinated without undergoing PCR testing requirements.
Covid-19 Crisis Management Coordination Center (CCMC) of the Government of Nepal has decided to waive off the PCR test requirement on March 7 for passengers who have completed full vaccination against Covid-19 before fourteen days of arrival.
According to the other information, the tourists will be waived with special discounted fare equivalent to Nepali local fare in all the domestic flights, 20% discount in all hotels.
“Further tourism recovery initiatives and action plans are to be also put into action within April 2022,” it said.
Nepal is also moving forward to revive the hard-hit tourism sector with the strategic action plans being formulated by the National Tourism Revival Committee (TRC), together with the public and private sector stakeholders of the tourism industry, said the release.
Meanwhile, the Government of Nepal, Ministry of Tourism has appointed the world-famous record-breaking Nepalese Mountaineer Nirmal Purja as the Goodwill Ambassador for Nepal’s tourism.
