The USA is facing a Winter Storm that makes the country icy temperatures. With this record level of minus temperature not only the humans being affected by their daily life activities but also hit record numbers of air travel.
According to FlightAware data report, over 11,00 flights have been canceled in the United States as of Sunday evening which was the highest number of cancellations since the Coronavirus pandemic of 2019.
In the USA, the winter storm began on Friday and is expected to continue hitting parts of the Northeast through Monday.It is reported that even after the snow storm expected to end after Monday, the frigid temperatures and icy conditions will persist into the week.
In another report, according to PowerOutage.us, it is said that over eight hundred thousand people faced without electricity due to heavy snow and ice.
Calling the storms “historic”, President Donald Trump on Saturday approved federal emergency disaster declarations in South Carolina, Virginia, Tennessee, Georgia, North Carolina, Maryland, Arkansas, Kentucky, Louisiana, Mississippi, Indiana, and West Virginia.
“We will continue to monitor, and stay in touch with all States in the path of this storm. Stay Safe, and Stay Warm,” Trump wrote in a post on Truth Social.
