World Health Organization (WHO) Director-General announces the winners of the 2nd edition of the Health for All Film Festival.
The 2nd edition of the Health for All Film Festival has attracted nearly 1200 short film submissions – both amateur and professional – from 110 countries with competition categories based on WHO’s major global public health goals.
WHO Director General Dr. Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus, together with members of the official jury, announced six prizes and three special mentions on Thursday.
The awards ceremony was streamed online on Friday 14 May with winners and other jurors.
Each film winner creatively reflected new situations and different realities; highlighting challenges but also a way through.
World’s problems are intractable, but WHO will keep fighting to defend the health rights of all people everywhere in the world.
The one thing they had in common was that to beat the challenges of our time, we must bridge our divides and craft new stories together.
