A friend in need is a friend in deed.

Today as Nepal is facing an emergency situation with much hardship from the COVID-19 pandemic, a small help could be memorable in strengthening the friendship.

Ambassador of the Kingdom of Thailand to Nepal Vosita Vorasaph handed over 17 oxygen concentrators to Nepal amidst a special function organized at the Tribhuvan International Airport on Friday.

On behalf of Nepal Government, Chief Specialist at the Ministry of Health and Population Dr. Roshan Pokharel received the oxygen concentrators aid donated by Thai people through the channel of the Royal Thai Monastery, Lumbini.

The oxygen concentrators brought from Thailand will be used to assist the immediate needs of Nepali people during the second wave of the Covid-19.

“The help of 17-oxygen concentrators to Nepal by the Thai people in the time of urgent need represents the longstanding relationship between the two countries and the good contact between people to people of both the countries,” said the Embassy of Thailand.
