Qatar Economic Forum kicks off

The third annual Qatar Economic Forum, powered by Bloomberg, began in Doha on May 23,

With the theme ‘A New Global Growth Story’ the two-day May23-25, 2023 Forum is being held under the patronage of Amir H H Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani.

Doha forum draws on Qatar’s ability to link Asia with Africa and beyond, as well as its position as a key global diplomatic hub and a leader in LNG energy technologies is the Middle East’s leading voice dedicated to global business and investment.

With the participation of hundreds of policymakers from around the globe, including government leaders, CEOs, global investors, and influential voices from the worlds of culture, sport, and entertainment boosts fresh and unique perspectives on the issues driving global boardroom conversations.

As Doha has become today a thriving financial and commercial centre for East, West and Africa, the Qatar Economic Forum serves as a media platform with a diverse agenda to achieve an oasis for dialogue on the global economic arena.

Chairperson of the Supreme Committee Organizing the Qatar Economic Forum while talking to media in Doha, said that the 3rd edition will attract more influential business leaders, academics, and heads of government to highlight the necessary innovations to move the global economy forward.

The global economy faces unique uncertainties. Against this backdrop, the Forum will shine a light on the rising south-to-south economy and the new growth opportunities will identify the latest economic trends that will drive a new global economic growth.

Previous two summits of Qatar Economic Forum also powered by Bloomberg had held successfully facilitating a centre of dialogue forum for Asia-West dialogue as well as between the public and private sectors around the world.

Qatar Economic Forum also aims to address the challenges facing development concepts based on “Qatar National Vision 2030”.
