The Embassy of Israel in Nepal and the Nepal-Israel Chamber of Commerce successfully organized a virtual business meeting on Monday, February 17.
The meeting aimed at promoting business collaboration in the agro-sector and facilitating the exchange of know-how and modern agricultural technologies between the two nations has brought 15 leading companies from Nepal and Israel, said the press release of the Embassy of Israel in Kathmandu.
During the meeting, aiming for collaborative efforts in creating long-term partnerships with ensuring mutual growth, Israeli companies presented their presentations to the Nepali companies for evaluation, followed by discussions on the ways to promote bilateral businesses.
The virtual meeting between Nepali and Israeli companies has laid the groundwork for agro-sector collaboration and marks a significant step towards strengthening economic ties and advancing the agricultural sectors of both nations.
The entrepreneurs from both the nations have also stressed on the need of strong economic partnership between Nepal and Israel, several rounds of virtual meetings to further expand business engagements will also be organized in near future, the press release added.
