Miss Nicaragua Sheynnis Palacios has won the title of Miss Universe held at the Gimnasio Nacional José Adolfo Pineda in San Salvador, El Salvador on Saturday 18 November 2023 in San Salvador, El Salvador.

R’Bonney Gabriel of the United States crowned Sheynnis Palacios of Nicaragua as Miss Universe 2023.

Palacios, 23, a mental-health activist and audiovisual producer won the title of 72nd Miss Universe defeating nearly seven dozen of beauties.

Winning the Saturday night’s pageant title, she became the first Nicaraguan woman to win the crown

Similarly, Thailand’s Antonia Porsild was the first runner-up, while Australia’s Moraya Wilson was declared the second runner-up.

Jane Deepika Garrett of Nepal could not reach at the “Round of 10” who ended by reaching the top 20 in Miss Universe 2023. She was also focused attention towards her in the show as a “plus size model.”

An American-born Nepali beauty pageant Jane Deepika Garrett was crowned as Miss Universe Nepal 2023 (to represent Nepal at a pageant held in Kathmandu) is one of the first “curvy” women to

compete at Miss Universe and body positivity advocate.

In 2018, Nepal’s’ Manita Devkota was selected in the last 10.

This year’s pageant was presented by Jeannie Mai and Miss Universe 2012 Olivia Culpo for the second consecutive time,

Thailand’s Anntonia Porsild was declared 1st runner-up Whereas 2nd runner-up Moraya Wilsonis from Australia.
