Meanwhile, today is 457 days of an armed conflict between Israel and HAMAS-led Palestinian militant groups that has been taking place in the Gaza Strip and Israel since 7 October 2023.

It is the fifth war of the Gaza–Israel conflict since 2008, and the most significant military engagement in the region since the Yom Kippur War in 1973.

There is conflicting information as to whether the Palestinian militant group HAMAS has approved a list of 34 hostages to be exchanged in a possible ceasefire to be released in Gaza. Let’s hope, Nepali student hostage Bipin is also on the list. There were indirect negotiations in Qatar for a ceasefire and hostage release deal, the news reports added.

But, according to the latest news reports, Israel’s Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu says Hamas has not provided a list of names.

Peace is and will always be the best for the well-being of all people, everywhere. No more war whether it is from Gaza to Sudan, Yemen to Ukraine and Haiti to Myanmar and beyond.
