If all goes according to plan, by Today–Sunday evening Israel will have a new prime minister.

According to the information, the Israeli Parliament-Knesset is likely to endorse a vote tonight- Sunday and Naftali Bennett, the political gambler, is likely to become Israel’s 13th prime minister ousting a veteran figure of Israel’s political arena serving PM Benjamin Netanyahu.

Netanyahu has been ruling Israeli government for over 12 years but his term counts a total of 15 years as prime minister making him one of the longest serving leaders in the world.

If the vote passes, as per the political alliances, Bennett would be sworn in as prime minister for the first half period whereas another politician Yair Lapid would serve as next PM of Israel for the rest of half terms.

Bennett is a multimillionaire entrepreneur whereas Lapid was a former journalist. But both had entered into the Israeli politics and had garnered experience.. Both of them had also served as ministers in the Israeli government earlier.
