COVID pandemic has halted the world. And it has been opening part by part in the world. In this connection the Thailand government has decided to reopen Bangkok to international travellers on October 15.

By the time nearly 70 per cent of Bangkok residents are expected to have been fully vaccinated, informed the official in the press meet held in Bangkok adding “reopening is part of the government’s initiative to boost the economy, which is heavily reliant on international tourism.”

Tourists who have completed their vaccination should be able to travel to Thailand without any quarantine or restrictions that would cause inconvenience,” it added.

On July 1, the popular resort island of Phuket reopened to international tourism with underlining tourists are not required to undergo any quarantine if they have been fully vaccinated against the coronavirus in their country for at least 14 days and test negative upon arrival.

Besides Bangkok, several other provinces are also scheduled to welcome back international tourism next month.
