World Health Organization (WHO) turns 75. So, the76th assembly of the World Health Organization will convene at the Palais des Nations in Geneva from May 21 till 30th in which high level delegations from all WHO 194 Member States will attend.
The 76th World Health Assembly under the theme “saving lives, driving health for all” will focus on driving forward health for all and will determine the short and longer-term plans of WHO with reviewing last year’s progress, accomplishments and challenges.
During this session, the Director General of WHO will present life-time achievement awards to two global health leaders and also present five public health awards and prizes to the seven laureates from Bahrain, China, Guatemala, Lebanon, Nepal, Thailand and the Philippines for 2023.
