Four games a day: Final on December 18National Day

The FIFA World Cup Qatar2022 will kick off on November 21, 2022.

The opening match of FIFA World Cup 2022 will be held in Al Bayt stadium in Al Khor at 13:00 local time. The stadium will be completed in 2020. 

The 2022 World Cup in Qatar will see four matches played per day during the group stages.

The group games will take place over a 12-day period although no venues will be assigned until the groups have been drawn.

Kick-off times will also be picked based on which countries are drawn where so as to suit TV audiences – the time slots for games, local time, will be 1pm, 4pm, 7pm and 10pm.

The play-off for third place will be at Khalifa International Stadium on December 17. 

The tournament will take place over 28 days.

The final will kick off a day later at Lusail Stadium in the country’s capital Doha on December 18, 2022 which is also the National Day of State of Qatar.
